Trypiti: the village between Plaka and Klima

White houses, steep streets, views over the bay. Trypiti is a place people stay when they want the Plaka hill without being in the busiest lanes. Evenings still mean walking. A car belongs at an accessible edge. If your hotel description mentions stairs, believe it, and tell the transfer team — the meeting point may be a corner, not the front door.

The Ancient Theatre of Milos is listed by the Greek Ministry of Culture. It is a real archaeological site with its own opening arrangements, not a roadside photo lay-by. Check the current listing before you build a day around it. Combined with Plaka and Klima it makes a coherent afternoon; rushing it between two beaches does not. Heritage stops on a private tour need time on foot — say so when you enquire.

Published airport and port lists often price “Plaka & Trypiti” as one band. Klima is a separate line. If your plan is drop at Trypiti, walk to the theatre, collect at Klima, that is a custom shape: it can be quoted, it is not a surprise the driver should invent on the day.
