milosislandstransfers.com is operated by MILOS ELYSIUM TRANSFERS Ο.Ε., Pera Triovasalos, Milos 848 00, Greece. This page explains the handling of information submitted through this website.
Information in your enquiry
Booking and contact forms ask for your name, email, phone number and message. A transfer request also includes pickup and destination, travel date and time, passenger and luggage counts, flight or ferry details and any notes you choose to provide. Please include only information needed to organise the journey.
How the information is used
The operator uses these details to answer your request, prepare a quote, arrange the vehicle and communicate about your journey. Relevant details are shared with the assigned driver. The service terms and the operator’s statutory obligations also apply to confirmed bookings.
Email, WhatsApp and payment
Form enquiries are transmitted through the Resend email service to the operator. If you choose WhatsApp, your browser opens WhatsApp with a draft message for you to review and send; WhatsApp’s own policies apply. This website does not collect card numbers or process payments. Arrange payment directly with the operator.
Optional measurement
Google Analytics loads only when you choose to accept optional cookies. Google Ads and Meta Pixel load only if configured and optional cookies are accepted. Choosing essential only does not prevent you from using the forms. See the cookie policy to change your preference.
Retention and your requests
The operator retains booking and communication records for service administration and applicable record-keeping obligations. For the retention period applicable to your information, or to request access, correction, deletion or restriction, contact elysiumtransfers@gmail.com. You may also contact the Hellenic Data Protection Authority about a privacy concern.
External websites
Google Maps and Pexels links lead to external services. They are not embedded maps or social feeds. The linked provider’s privacy practices apply when you visit it.
Why the information is used, and the legal basis
- To answer an enquiry, prepare a quote and arrange the journey you asked for — steps taken at your request before a contract, and performance of that contract once the booking is confirmed.
- To keep the operator’s accounting and tax records — a legal obligation under Greek law.
- To keep this website working and secure — the legitimate interest of running the service.
- To load optional measurement scripts — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Your details are not used for marketing unless you ask for that, and they are not sold.
Who receives the information
- The driver assigned to your journey, who receives only what is needed to collect you.
- Resend, the email service that carries a form enquiry to the operator’s inbox.
- The hosting provider that serves this website.
- The operator’s accountant and the Greek tax authorities, where the law requires it.
These providers act on the operator’s instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
The email, hosting and optional measurement providers named above are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where information reaches them it is transferred on the safeguards those providers publish for European customers, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Choosing essential cookies only keeps the optional measurement providers out of the picture entirely.
How long information is kept
- Booking records: for as long as Greek tax law requires, currently five years.
- Enquiry messages that do not become a booking: up to two years, then deleted.
- Server logs: a short rolling period set by the hosting provider.
- Your cookie choice: in your own browser until you change it or clear the browser’s storage.
Your rights under the GDPR
You may ask for a copy of the information held about you, have inaccurate details corrected, ask for deletion where there is no remaining legal reason to keep the record, object to or ask for a restriction of processing, receive your details in a portable format, and withdraw consent to optional cookies at any time without affecting what happened before.
Write to elysiumtransfers@gmail.com. The operator answers within one month.
Complaints
If the operator’s answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, Kifissias 1-3, 115 23 Athens, www.dpa.gr. If you live in another EU country you may also complain to your own supervisory authority.
Security and children
The website is served over HTTPS and access to enquiry records is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but reasonable technical and organisational measures are in place. Journeys are booked by adults; a booking may name the ages of children travelling only so the correct child seat is fitted.
