Triovasalos: the hill towns behind the capital

Triovasalos and Pera Triovasalos sit on the hill system near Plaka. They are lived-in towns more than visitor stages: local shops, houses, the ordinary island. Pera Triovasalos is where Milos Elysium Transfers is based. You may pass through on the way to Plaka, Klima or the north coast; you would choose to stay here for a quieter, more residential feel, not for a waterfront promenade.

Character

Travel listings treat Triovasalos as one of the larger hill settlements, continuous in feel with its neighbour Pera Triovasalos. Do not expect Klima’s waterfront or Pollonia’s sandy village beach. Expect a Greek island town where people live all year. That is useful if you have rented a house here; it is less useful as a first-night base for someone who wants tavernas in a row.

The team is based in Pera Triovasalos, which makes local pickups straightforward, but the price is still the quoted journey, not a free local hop. From here Plaka is close; Pollonia is not. It is a residential hill town. Visitors stay here, but the postcard places are Plaka, Klima and the coasts.
