Eating on Milos without a fake top ten

Milos cooks like a Cycladic island with a fishing fleet: fish, local cheese, pies, tomatoes that taste of summer. This page will not rank restaurants. Rankings go stale and they are not ours to make. It will tell you where meals geographically happen — Adamas waterfront, Plaka lanes, Pollonia seafront, Paleochori in season — and how that should change the time you ask a driver to come back.

Where people actually eat

Adamas is easy: walk the front. Plaka is the evening village — book in July, walk from a drop-off, collect later than you think. Pollonia is seafront tables and a sandy village. Paleochori’s middle beach has tavernas in season. Klima and Mandrakia have fewer chairs than photographs; confirm opening rather than arriving hungry at dusk.

Dinner and the car

A Plaka sitting is the classic “come back at 23:00” transfer. Tell the restaurant name. A Paleochori lunch can be a beach drop with a later collection at the taverna, not at the far end of the pebbles. We do not hold tables.
