The beach
Listings describe coarse sand, pale pebbles and a calmer atmosphere than its larger neighbour. Facilities are seasonal. If you need a guaranteed taverna, Paleochori’s middle stretch is the more documented bet; if you want space, Agia Kyriaki is the usual recommendation. Bring water anyway.
The dirt section
A private driver used to the island will treat the compacted dirt as ordinary. A hire car whose contract forbids unpaved roads may not. That is a rental-desk conversation, not something this page can waive. See driving on Milos.
