What Kleftiko is
The name refers to pirates in local telling: hidden coves in pale rock. Geology, not a theme park, is the point. You swim if the boat allows and the sea agrees. There is no taverna, no sunbed row, no lifeguard described in the municipal listing. Bring what the boat tells you to bring, and assume the island itself offers nothing once you leave the quay.
How visits work
Book a licensed boat. In peak weeks book ahead. Confirm the meeting quay — almost always Adamas — and whether hotel pickup is included in the ticket (if it is, you may not need us that morning). If it is not, a port transfer is the road product. Do not stack Kleftiko with Tsigrado and a Plaka sunset as if they were neighbouring rooms.
What we will not claim
We will not sell you a “Kleftiko transfer” as if the car goes there. We will not invent a hidden road. The boat trips page sets the boundary. Private land tours — Sarakiniko, Mandrakia, Plaka, Klima — are a different day, on wheels.
